Troop 7266 New Scout checklist
Youth Paperwork and fees
__Online Youth BSA application filled out and fees paid
__ BSA Medical A and B Filled out, signed and given to troop
__ Troop 266 permission form filled out, signed and given to troop
__ Troop 266 Code of Conduct signed and given to troop
__ Consider applying as an adult as well. Adults cannot do any overnight activities with the troop without an application and background check completed (usually takes 2-4 weeks) and completion of Youth Protection Training (YPT).

Note: the Troop will provide a neckerchief and “class B” troop t shirt
__ Tan Boy Scout shirt (leave some room to grow)
__ Green shoulder loops
__ Council shoulder patch
__ World Scouting patch
__ A slide for your Boy Scout neckerchief
__ Merit Badge sash (buy the large one)
__ Boy Scout Handbook with cover
Note:
Every scout has a troop account even if it has a balance of zero. We have multiple fund raisers during the year to help fund the scouting experience including the yearly dues.
Tips and hints:
#1 Be involved! The scouts that have active adults get the most out of the program.
#2 Please ask lots of questions. Everyone in the troop was new once, we are all scouters and scouters like to help (do a Good Turn Daily).
